FOR EUROVISION 2009

We have had 8 years of awful luck in the eurovision song contest and its time for us to take back our crown. We have decided to start a vote and petition to get the girls to represent us in Eurovision 2009. We need as many votes and signatures as possible to send off to their management.

• These girls can really sing live!!!!

We once used to rule eurovison, but over 8 years we have sent the worst possible singers and songs to represent us. These girls could really bring it back home for us.

Mollie

Name: Mollie

Mollie was in a couple of girlbands when she was younger but never got to the stage where any music was released. She’s like to think of herself as posh, girlie, one of the loudest laughs you’ll ever hear and gets excited about even the most stupid things.

She can’t wait to meet celebrities (Britney is her absolute favourite) and is a big worrier. She dislikes rude and unmotivated people and loves fashion, rummaging around for vintage clothes. She likes long hair on a man and would like to meet a nice surfer guy on the beach.

When you look on youtube most people refer to her as "Looking Lost" "Smiling on the pru of the moment, every moment" "A jessica simpson lookalike" "pretty" and "over tanned"

Personally i think she is stunning, and i dont get why people want to diss her so much. Jealousy more than likely.

Rochelle

Rochelle was a child actress and was later in S Club Juniors with Frankie, who she’s known since she was 9. She presented on Children’s BBC (CBBC) for two years.

She’s bubbly, loud, funny and loves shopping - “I don’t like saving for a rainy day. If it’s raining, I’ll go shopping anyway!” And she likes to convince the other girls in the band to spend money to lessen her guilt.

Her mum is her best friend and she hates people breathing on her and bad smells (especially people with BO on the tube).

She’s opinionated and honest and loves people with ambition. She likes tall, dark, muscled, handsome men who are successful at whatever they do.

She’s keeps the band in check, and makes sure everyone is where they need to be, when they need to be there. Lookswise, she has been reffered to as looking like a younger, sexier kelly rowland, a prettier leona lewis, and a british fox.

Vanessa

Name: Vanessa White

Place of birth: Somerset.

Vanessa was born in Somerset and attended the famous Sylvia Young Theatre School in Central London.Fellow group member Rochelle describes her as “our Christina Aguilera – but ridiculously modest”.

Her favourite word is ‘cringe’. She’s super cute with a feisty side and is very clear about what she does and doesn’t like. A naturally happy character, She laughs at anything and everything.

she can often be found getting into trouble with her partner-in-crime, Frankie. She can be hyper, loves bright clothes and hates rude, arrogant or bitchy people.

Born to an english Father and a Pinoy mother, she has an exotic look to her that naturally oozes sex appeal. Considered to be the most powerful of the group when it comes to the vocals. (And personally i think the most attractive) She is often compared on social networking sites to have a resembalence to american idol singer "Jordin Sparks"

Una

Una started her singing career in a rock band, and later wrote and recorded her own album. The oldest member of the group at 27, she is 8 years older than the youngest. She’s a sensitive, feisty type who seems like the sensible member of the group, but every now and again she’ll surprise you with her wicked sense of humour.

She’s an amazing guitarist, enjoys working out any stress down the gym and she loves a cup of tea. She can’t bear negative people and doesn’t understand why people feel the need to diss others. Her fellow band mates say that “everything about her is classy”.

Una is a native of ireland, and is often noted as looking like an older , prettier version of american teen brat "Hannah Montanna" aka Miley Cyrus. A natural Redhead with a stunning voice.

Frankie

Name: Frankie
D.O.B: 14/01/1989

Place of birth: Upminster

Frankie first found fame in S Club Juniors back in 2002 (along with fellow band member Rochelle Wiseman). She continued with her singing singing after the band split and has been waiting for the perfect opportunity to come along.

She catergorises herself as a take you or leave you kind of girl. “I always have to say something”. She loves men and will openly check out any handsome guys that walk past, and it’s safe to say that most men will find they’ve met their match in her.

When it comes to guys she likes scruffy musician types and is most likely to find her perfect partner at a festival. (Although she is dating someone from UK band presently)

At the moment there are quite a few, The Shins, The Bronx, City and Colour, Kings of Leon, Imogen Heap, Amy Winehouse, Blondie, Pat Benatar.

The Girls

Overview.

The Saturdays are a British girl group who formed in 2007. There are five members in the group, including Frankie Sandford and Rochelle Wiseman who were previously in the group "S Club Juniors".

The group are signed to Fascination Records, and their debut single, If this is love was released on 28th July 2008 and has reached No 8 in the Official UK Top 40 as at 3rd August 2008. Their latest offering "UP" Debuted at No 5, and climbed to No 2 within 2 Days of release.

Their Debut album "Chasing Lights" Was released on October 20th going straight in to the top 10.

The next awaited single "Work, Work" is due to be released at the beggining of November 2008.

The Saturdays have also toured with Girls Aloud on their Tangled Up tour as the support act.
